Points tournament

Ok, i had this idea in my last post, but i thought I'd add it here.

The higher you rank at the end of the week, the more points you get. At the end of three months or so, we will announce a winner, which will be the person with the most points. It will be combined with all the games, so the more variety of games you play, the more points you stand to earn.

So, if i do this, how should the points be awarded?

I have two systems, one weighted more to the winners, and one that isn't so weighted.

Option one:

1st-8 pts
2nd-7 pts
3rd-6 pts
4th-5 pts
5th-4 pts
6th-3 pts
7th-2 pts
8th-1 pt

Option two:

1st-65 pts
2nd-33 pts
3rd-17 pts
4th-9 pts
5th-5 pts
6th-3 pts
7th-2 pts
8th-1 pt

I think i may have to cut down some of the higher place's points, but I'd like some input.

Never saw your post.

I just suggested it to Frank and he let me do it. I saw in one of his posts that he was looking for someone to run it, and i applied for the job.

Tell me more about your plan, maybe i could include some of your ideas.

I didn't undelete your post, so it must have been something you did. I'm sure there's a log that can prove it.

Well I sent u my highscore a few hours ago so yeah ill take part in this. And Rob please watch ur language. ur a mod. U are suppose to be making us follow the rules but if ur going to break them thats not really being a mod. Im just saying.
