Moderator powers

Do you think moderators should be given the power to delete the forum accounts of those who are abusing the forums? Recently there has been a big rise in the amount of spam, surely the only way to stop it is to give MODs these powers?

Yes, I think that would come in hand, for deleting those spammers,

I've all ready had to delete 30+ Threads and 2 Post today.

No it should be able to ipban.. and delete threads

Also after deleting accounts, of course it would make sense to block IP addresses, but I don't know if that is easily implemented with this forum software

Currently there are 2 people besides Frank who can ban members. If you need someone to ban a user for breaking forum rules, you can send me a PM, or I think the other person is iamanorange?
At this time I ask that if you do see someone who is breaking rules, please continue to lock/soft delete the threads. If you want it physically removed, let me know and I will do so.
As for the IP ban, I have requested this from Frank as well as a registering email being sent to the email they supply.

Also, I will be making a list of ban lengths for offenses and will post them in the rules in the Introductions thread. If anyone has any suggestions, or wishes to help me, please PM me, do not start a thread or post it here as I will delete them.

SO PLEASE PM ME.

I'm with scorpio because you also got to remember that if you gamres major pawers like deleteing accouints or something if anyone abueses their power they can selete everyone and that would NOT be good thats why its alot safer to pm the super mods or Frank the All mighty admin.

I'm really getting P***d off, because, i've been here, since 05 November 2005, and i discovered this board before there was even a link to here,

And iamanorange has more powers than me,

jeez calm down liam. Your not the only one who found this forum before there was a link aswell. It wasn't exactly hard to guess.

Its also posts like that which help Frank decide not to give you more powers. Also you made loads of mistakes when you were first a moderator here.

At the end of the day, i would like more powers to but i don't have them. I just deal with it. RH is going to give me money so i can't really complain about not having more powers on the forum, so i don't know why you are either.

I found the forum before there was a link too. But account deletion is a big thing. And if someone like charlie (who got banned for "cheating") were to beable to do this, there could be alot of accounts gone.

ANd about mod powers TRUSTED members should be mods not some leecher and barely post on the site O.o I post every day
